The Club, in conjunction with PGA Golf Professional Michael Jones, was proud to support Cancer Council Queensland on 21 May with Australia’s Biggest Morning TEE Coaching Clinic.
The Pines Driving Range was a hub of activity with over 60 ladies driving for charity. From beginners to experienced golfers, ladies learnt tips and techniques from Michael Jones and three further PGA Golf Professionals. This fun-filled event was a hit with spot prizes and raffles donated by a number of local businesses. Non-golfers had the opportunity to take home a win with novelty events including an egg and spoon race and a game of tunnel ball.
Following golf, the ladies made their way to the private Members’ Clubhouse to enjoy tea, coffee and scones as well as the presentation and raffle draws.
100% of funds taken were donated to Cancer Council Queensland with a total of $2147.05 being donated.
Thank you to Michael Jones and the PGA Golf Professionals for making this event such a success.
