Due to the extremely fast speed of play that we are currently experiencing on the golf courses with single-use golf carts, the Match and Greens Committee has temporarily suspended walking until further notice.
Careful consideration has been taken to this decision however, after several weeks of monitoring this situation, it is agreed that golf cart use only is the best outcome for all golfers at this time.

The Pines golf course will be closed on Tuesday 19 May and Tuesday 26 May for the golf course maintenance team to complete a variety of maintenance works, including:

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club in conjunction with Gary Lisbon Photography is offering a limited number of 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles with images of The Pines and The Palms golf courses via Gary’s online shop. Members have their choice of one of six images of the golf courses to be printed on their jigsaw puzzle.
Gary Lisbon Photography’s jigsaw puzzles are usually priced at $115 each, and are currently available to Members at a special rate of just $89 each including delivery within Australia.

The Pines golf course irrigation project continued this week with the commencement of clean-up works on hole 1 and the continuation of defect repairs on hole 2, which has now been signed off as complete. Damaged drainage lines were repaired on holes 1 and 9, while main line trench works also commenced on hole 9.
The coming week will see the continued repair of defects and clean up on hole 1, as well as ongoing works on hole 9 including main line, laterals and irrigation head installation. On holes 1, 2 and 3, solid turf will be laid on the main line trenches.
The Club has communicated via email to Members on several occasions over the past few months to keep Members up to date with the ever evolving coronoavirus and the effect on the Club, golf courses and operations. Each of these updates is copied onto the Members’ News page of the Club’s website. To view, login to the Members’ section of the website and click on the Members’ News tab. All future communications and updates will continue to be posted there as well.
A reminder to all Members, if you don’t have an annual pass to use the Club’s golf buggies, you are required to pay $15 per use. This amount has been reduced from $30 per use to $15 due to the current social distancing requirements of one player per cart.
The Club is pleased to announce that the tennis courts at the Country Club have reopened.
Members are required to reserve a court and adhere to social distancing measures, these include two people per court and no spectators. The two people on court can be made up of coach and player or two players.
Courts are open Monday to Saturday from 7am – 2pm and there is no charge for Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Members to play.
