The Pines golf course irrigation project continued this week with the completion of ring mains and heads on the practice putting green as well as clean up works on the practice holes and the completion of defects in practice areas. This has resulted in these areas being signed off as complete.
The coming week will see works commence on major upgrades to the Members’ driving range. On Monday 29 June, works will be focused on the mobilisation of plant and equipment and marking out of target greens and fairway profiles. Tuesday 30 June – Friday 3 July will see the bulk earth works and shaping of the area. A total of 805 pine trees will be planted along both sides of the driving range, framing the area to match the aesthetics of The Pines golf course. In addition, the planting will reduce the amount of rough along the range and assist in minimising required maintenance of the area.
During this period, the driving range will be closed for four (4) weeks, reopening on Monday 27 July, subject to weather. The Palms driving range will be available to Members during this time.
On Monday 29 June, upgrade works on the cart path on hole 3 of The Pines will commence.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while these works are completed.
