Golf Clubhouse Reopening

Posted 30 June 2020

In anticipation of reopening the Golf Clubhouse doors tomorrow, Wednesday 1 July 2020, our priority remains to ensure the health and safety of all Members, guests and staff. Keeping in line with COVID safe practices, strict procedures have been implemented and we kindly request all Members and guests to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Access to the Golf Clubhouse will be via the golf shop or the main Clubhouse entrance only, please adhere to directional signage
  • Entry or exit via Lakeview Terrace will not be available until further notice
  • Prior to entering the dining areas, each Member and guest will be required to sign in either via QR code on a mobile phone or by completing a form
    • Two QR code posters will be set up in the Clubhouse foyer for Members and guests to scan using your mobile phone; a staff member will be available to assist with sign in:

Step 1 – Open the camera application on your phone
Step 2 – Capture the QR code on the phone screen
Step 3 – Your phone will recognise the QR code and open a website browser
Step 4 – Enter your details
Step 5* – Select register and have a staff member escort you to a table

    • A hard copy sign-in form is available at the dining registration desk and must be completed by Members and guests without mobile phones

      * Please note that once registered, Members and guests will only need to scan the QR code on your next visits and you will be registered automatically

  • All Members and guests will be welcomed by a staff member, assisting with sign in and providing hand sanitiser prior to escorting you to a table

  • All dining facilities will offer table service only with a new Mezze Snack Menu available, designed by Chef de Cuisine Martin Glutz
  • Due to current stock control and supplier delays, the interim beer selection will be reduced until further notice and packaged beer will be on special; please click here to view a listing of current beer ranges available from Lakeview Bar
  • Payment of accounts must be made by charging to a Member account or credit card, cash payments will not be accepted at this time
  • If the facility is nearing or at capacity, Members and guests will be requested to stay in the Club for a maximum of sixty (60) minutes
  • The designated outdoor smoking area during this time will be the terrace at the Clubhouse entrance end of Lakeview Bar; smoking will not be permitted on Lakeview Terrace (driving range end)

An announcement was made by the Premier earlier today regarding changes to restrictions from Friday 3 July 2020. Until Friday 3 July, Lakeview Bar, The Jabiru Restaurant and Lakeview Terrace will be required to abide by the rule allowing 20 persons at any one time in each dining section.

As of Friday 3 July, the Club will be permitted to accommodate Members and guests following the one (1) person per four (4) square metre guideline.

Under all circumstances, social distancing must be obeyed by keeping 1.5 metre distance from others and we kindly request that all staff guidance is followed. Dining facility trading hours will be as follows:

Monday         11:30am – 2:30pm

Tuesday         Closed

Wednesday   11am – 5:30pm

Thursday       11:30am – 2:30pm

Friday            11am – 5:30pm

Sunday          11:30am – 5:30pm

From Monday 13 July, we are pleased to advise the Golf Clubhouse will be open for lunch, offering a new lunch menu designed by our culinary team.

As previously expressed, your patience and cooperation with staff when we reopen the facilities in these challenging circumstances will be greatly appreciated, and the team will have the full support of Management and the Board to enforce the legislative requirements.
