The project of resurfacing The Pines greens is progressing very well and we were fortunate enough to experience very little impact from the storm on Saturday afternoon.

Just over two weeks into the project, we are tracking ahead of schedule and are already in a position to move across to the back 9 holes of The Pines from Thursday 21 January 2021. As you are aware, we had scheduled to keep these holes open longer, however the project team has progressed better than expected to date along without suffering weather delays.

With the consolidation of all golf back to The Palms golf course for the next phase of the project, Members will be restricted to bring only one (1) guest on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Due to Member player numbers, guests will not be permitted on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We will communicate to the Members when these guest restrictions will change as the front 9 holes become available for play in the coming months.

To those who had social play booked after Wednesday 20 January 2021, we apologise for the inconvenience of not being able to honour those tee times. It is imperative that we allow the contractors to move freely into the back 9 holes as required, to allow us to optimise our ability to bring The Pines golf course back in play in its entirety as soon as possible later in the year.

The Golf Services team will be amending the tee sheets from tomorrow, please contact them directly if you have any questions regarding social tee times you had booked on The Pines back 9 holes.

We sincerely apologise for the short notice of the closure, however hope Members understand the future benefits of progressing early.
