132 Members celebrated Australia Day on Sunday 24 January during the Social Sunday event with a two-person Ambrose format.
A side event on the day was the Australia vs The Rest of The World Challenge, which is always hotly contested. Pre-golf food and drinks were served on the putting green and Members wore fantastic outfits representing their country of choice, while plenty of Australian flags were flying on golf buggies.
This year’s Social Sunday event winners were John and Renee Hodgetts with a superb score of 60.25. In the annual Australia Day team challenge, Australia was victorious over the Rest of the World in 2021.
