Men’s Senior, Veteran and Vintage Finals<\/h3>\n

On Sunday 22 January, the Club welcomed the finalists for the 2023 Men\u2019s Senior, Veteran and Vintage Final. All matches were guaranteed to be close, and each event was hotly contested. Congratulations to the following winners:<\/p>\n

Senior:
\nPaul Kernaghan defeated Marshall Leigh 19th hole<\/p>\n

Veteran:
\nGreg Duguid defeated Peter Hay 6 & 5<\/p>\n

Vintage:
\nRaymond Smith defeated Gary Simmons 5 & 3<\/p>\n

Thank you to our three referees on the day Wayne Kirby, David Vosloo and Oscar Groeneveld for their assistance, and to the Members who came to support the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golf Shop Front Door Tiling<\/h3>\n

Smartstone will be onsite to complete the resurfacing and tiling in front of the golf shop entrance on Monday 30 January, Tuesday 31 January and Wednesday 1 February. We ask all Members to enter the golf shop and Clubhouse via the locker room entrance for these three days. Golfers are welcome to check in to their tee times via the bag drop that is available until 12:30pm daily or on the putting green with the starter on Competition Days. Limited food and beverages will be available from the Club\u2019s coffee cart between 6:30am and 4:30pm while the works are underway.<\/p>\n

Lakeview Breakfast<\/h3>\n

Lakeview Bar will be open for breakfast from 8am this Sunday 29 January 2023. Bookings are strongly recommended and can be made by phoning 07 5699 9000.  <\/p>\n

Ladies\u2019 Monthly Medal <\/h3>\n

The Match Committee has made changes to the Ladies\u2019 Monthly Medal on both The Pines and The Palms golf courses.<\/p>\n

Commencing in February on The Pines golf course, ladies will no longer be required to play in their stipulated grades. The tee sheets have been amended accordingly and bookings can be made online.<\/p>\n

For ladies not wishing to play a stroke event, an optional Single Stableford event is being introduced for both courses\u2019 Monthly Medal competitions. On The Pines golf course this competition will be played from the red tees, and on The Palms golf course it will be played from the white tees. <\/p>\n

Sunday \u2013 Optional Competitions<\/h3>\n

The Club has decided to introduce optional competitions on the Sundays where a Social Sunday event is not scheduled. <\/p>\n

These competitions will be a Medley Single Stableford. Below is the list of the first events scheduled:<\/p>\n
