“<\/span><\/span>Happy New Year! This week, the maintenance team has been focused on rough mowing on both The Pines and The Palms golf courses.<\/p>\r\n

With the weather still a bit unpredictable, the Golf Course Maintenance team is ensuring everything is ready for this Sunday\u2019s Sanctuary Cove Open Championship.<\/p>\r\n

Looking ahead, The Pines golf course will close for its annual renovations next week and will remain closed for a three-week period. During this time, all surfaces will be renovated to ensure they stay in top condition.“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

Update on the Golf Courses<\/span><\/h3>\r\n

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week on The Pines golf course:<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n\t
  • Mowed the rough and outer rough<\/li>\r\n\t
  • Trimmed and detailed the irrigation and valve boxes<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    On The Palms golf course, the following was completed this week:<\/p>\r\n

      \r\n\t
    • \r\n

      Applied a granular fertiliser to the fairways and aprons<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t

    • \r\n

      Replaced drainage pits<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t

    • \r\n

      Mowed the rough and outer rough<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t

    • \r\n

      Repaired the irrigation on hole 10<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t

    • \r\n

      Repaired the hole 13 green after it was damaged by birds<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      Next week, the team plans to close The Pines golf course for annual renovations. All playing surfaces, including the small practice green, will be unavailable.<\/p>\r\n

      The Palms golf course will have the following undertaken<\/span>:<\/p>\r\n

      • \r\n

        Spray application on the bunker surrounds<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t

      • Trimming of the irrigation and valve boxes<\/li>\r\n\t
      • Landscaping and detailing to the gardens<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\n\t\t
