All tees and pin positions will remain unchanged, and the golf course will be officially rated by GA for handicap purposes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Palms golf course: 2026 WPGA Australian Championship Course Layout<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">To help members prepare, please see the outlined key updates to the 2026 course layout below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>6th hole<\/b><br \/>\nA new tee has been constructed; however, the hole will continue to play at the same length as in 2025, <span class=\"s1\">139m \/ <\/span><span class=\"s1\">152y.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>7th hole<\/b><br \/>\nWith the new tee complex now in place on the par 3 6th hole, we are able to utilise the men\u2019s teeing area for the 7th hole. This adjustment allows the hole to shift from a par 4 to a par 5, now playing 450m \/ 492y.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>11th hole<\/b><br \/>\nA newly built tee introduces a slightly different angle of play while maintaining a similar overall length to the 2025 setup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>18th hole<\/b><br \/>\nThis hole has undergone the most significant change. While it has been converted to a short par 4 for members, the championship will see it played as a par 5 to ensure balance across the back nine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span data-teams=\"true\">Last year\u2019s tee placement has now become unsuitable due to the earthworks, which require a lengthy carry. Playing from the next tee forward straightens the line, reduces the water carry, and still delivers a strong finishing hole at 420m \/ 459y.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is a rare and exciting opportunity for members to test themselves on the same championship setup played by the WPGA professionals, and is exclusive to Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club members.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Date:<\/b> Monday 23 March 2026<b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><br \/>\nTime:<\/b> 7:45am and 12:30pm shotgun start<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><br \/>\n<b>Price:<\/b> $55 includes competition fee and post-golf platters<\/span><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><br \/>\n<b>Location:<\/b> The Palms golf course<br \/>\n<b>Bookings:<\/b> Bookings can be made via the online tee sheet.
