R U OK? Day \u2013 Thursday 11 September 2025<\/b><\/h3>\n

R U OK? is a national suicide prevention charity dedicated to encouraging meaningful connections and conversations that can support individuals through challenging times. The organisation focuses on empowering help-givers by building their motivation, confidence, and skills to check in with, and support, those who may be struggling.<\/p>\n

By fostering stronger personal relationships and informal support networks such as friends, family, and colleagues, R U OK? plays a vital role in early suicide prevention. The charity encourages people to be attentive to signs of distress, initiate supportive conversations, and help connect others with appropriate support, ideally well before a crisis develops.<\/p>\n

The Club will be supporting R U OK? Day through the following fundraising initiatives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Nearest the Pin Competitions<\/b><\/h4>\n

In support of R U OK? Day, the Club will host special Nearest the Pin (NTP) competitions on the 7th hole of The Pines golf course. The ladies\u2019 event will take place on Thursday 11 September, followed by the men\u2019s event on Friday 12 September. These competitions will run in addition to the day\u2019s regular NTPs, with winners each receiving a $200 golf shop voucher.<\/p>\n

By participating, members will be helping raise awareness and funds for this important cause, while enjoying a spirited on-course challenge.<\/p>\n

Ladies\u2019 Competition<\/b>: Thursday 11 September 2025
\nMen\u2019s Competition<\/b>: Friday 12 September 2025

\nPrice<\/b>: $10 per person

R U OK? Day Cupcakes<\/b><\/b><\/h4>\n

Cupcakes will be available for purchase at $5 each or six for $25 on Thursday 11 September 2025, with all proceeds going to R U OK?. Cupcakes may be ordered in advance using the form below, or purchased on the day from the Club\u2019s coffee cart at The Pines golf course bag drop from 6:30am, and from Lakeview Bar from 11:30am, unless sold out prior.<\/p>\n
