With a welcome 108mm of rainfall across the golf course last week, we have already seen the positive impact that clean water can have on the property. Fortunately, the heavier totals that were forecast did not eventuate, and the steady, soaking rain has effectively flushed the built\u2011up salts and minerals that accumulated over the past three months. The Pines golf course is already showing strong signs of recovery, and we expect it to return to our usual presentation standard very soon.<\/p>\n
This week, we completed the final major fertility application on The Palms golf course, covering all short\u2011cut areas and high\u2011traffic roughs. Our focus now shifts to detailed course work, including minor turf replacement, continued trimming, and landscape mulching. From next week, delayed tee times will be introduced (No tee times between 7am \u2013 8am and 11am \u2013 1pm), along with managed tee marker placements to rest the tournament tees over the next four weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

- Applied foliar fertiliser and growth control to the tees, green aprons, and fairways on The Pines golf course<\/li>\n
- Applied fungicide and insecticide to the greens on both golf courses<\/li>\n
- Continued trimming sprinkler heads on The Pines golf course<\/li>\n
- Cleared pine cones and needles from all areas on The Pines golf course<\/li>\n
- Placed new bunker rakes on The Pines golf course<\/li>\n
- Applied granular fertiliser to the tees, green aprons, and fairways on The Palms golf course<\/li>\n
- Trimmed irrigation valve boxes and drain pits on The Palms golf course<\/li>\n
- Spread mulch around the fig tree on the right side of the 17th hole on The Palms golf course<\/li>\n
- Trimmed the tee discs on The Palms golf course<\/li>\n
- Returfed selected bare areas on The Palms golf course<\/li>\n
- Collected fallen palm fronds with the assistance of the members\u2019 working group<\/li>\n
