On Thursday 3 December, 112 ladies donned their best Christmas outfits to play in the 2020 Ladies’ Closing Day. Mitchell Smith was on the 13th hole of The Pines golf course serving the ladies champagne and hitting incredible tee shots. On this hole, $530 was raised for Cancer Council Qld and has been added to the Club’s Longest Day fundraising tally.
Congratulations to the division one winners Allison Woodhouse, Gail Chell, Louise Wolbers and Valerie Cleaves with a great score of 60.125 net. Congratulations to the division two winners Joy Connolly, Daria Williams, Sonja Trott and Robyn Fandrich with another great score of 62.875 net.
The best decorated buggies of the day prize was awarded to Wendy Nelson, Janet Herring, Marlene Kirk and Sue Webb. Congratulations to all of the other winners on the day.
