On Thursday 4 March 2021, the Club welcomed 124 ladies from 16 golf clubs to participate in the first Ladies’ Invitation Day for 2021 on The Palms golf course. Following their round, Members and guests enjoyed a buffet lunch and drinks in Lakeview Bar. Congratulations to the winners on the day, especially the team of Evelyn Rabinowe, Airlie Hawley, Airlie Phillis and Julie Phillips who had a fantastic score of 118 points. The Members-only team made up of Christine Hargreaves, Mary Crouch, Kate Morrisby and Liz Hansen played exceptionally well with a brilliant score of 129.
The ladies raised $2,129 for Hopewell Hospice and an additional $706 for equipment for junior golf clinics at the Club.Thank you to everyone who supported the day.
