On Thursday 2 December 2021, 143 ladies gathered in Lakeview Bar for the 2021 Ladies’ Closing Day. As a result of wet weather in the days prior to the event, unfortunately, the ladies were not able to play golf, however, this didn’t stop them celebrating another great year at the Club. The ladies donned their outfits for the day and enjoyed a Christmas buffet lunch. With so many teams going to such an amazing effort with their outfits, it was hard to choose winners. Special thanks to Susan McLean and Lorna Butler for helping judge the best dressed teams and buggies. Congratulations to the 2021 Ladies’ Overall Player of the Year, Kim Galpin and Ladies’ Most Reduced Handicap, Liz Hansen who lost an impressive 20.2 shots from her handicap.
Thank you to all the ladies who came to the day and bought along their strong Christmas spirit, despite golf not being able to be played. We look forward to seeing all the ladies back for the 2022 Ladies’ Opening Day.
