Sumac Spiced Squid

A popular dish on our Mezze Snack menu is our flash-fried squid. This dish was briefly removed from the menu however was quickly instated following increasing requests from Members. The dish returned with a little twist; in addition to the classic ‘salt and pepper’ seasoning, we also add a hint of sumac, a middle eastern spice. Sumac has a pleasant tangy taste with a hint of citrus fruitiness and little to no aroma. We serve the squid with a black pepper and lime mayonnaise and wedge of fresh lemon.
