It was lovely to see the Club once again filled with the smiling faces of our lady Members and their invited guests for our Ladies’ Invitation Day on Thursday 24 March 2022. After the cancellation of both our August Invitation Day in 2021 and the opening day for 2022 due to COVID, it was a well-overdue celebration. 120 Sanctuary Cove ladies and their guests from various golf clubs enjoyed a fun filled day on The Pines golf course followed by a beautifully prepared buffet lunch and presentations in Lakeview Bar. The Ladies’ Committee worked tirelessly on the day to raise invaluable fund for Make-A-Wish Australia through a wonderful raffle and with the assistance of PGA Associate Mitchell Smith on course. Thanks to the generosity of those who purchased tickets and donated, a stunning $2,300 was raised. Congratulations to the winners on the day, namely the team of Audy White, Jessica Freeman, Agnes Bowyer and Endang Solomans with a fantastic score of 131 points. A Member-only team must be mentioned for a brilliant score of 138 points from Loryn Van Den Berg, Tracey Lowe, Janice Sterling and Trudi Murray.
