The arrival of winter heralds a heart-warming high in the culinary calendar as Head Chef, Ben James, has developed a delightful new menu that boasts many reasons to dine in the cosy comforts of The Jabiru Restaurant.
The winter menu focuses on the flavours generally related to comfort foods, invoking memories of cold winter nights with a cup of hot soup. Utilising bold, rich ingredients such as red wine, brown sugar, olive oil and root vegetables, we have strived to create a menu that is inviting, pleasing to the palette, relevant to the season, yet fresh and light in its approach.
The winter menu features smoked ham hock terrine, indulgent, slow cooked red wine braised beef cheek, roasted lamb rump with capsicum coulis and banana pudding with butterscotch sauce. With gluten free and vegetarian options available, a conscious effort has been made to cater for all Members and their guests. The Club warmly welcomes Members and their guests every Friday evening from 6pm.
