The Jabiru Restaurant – Uncorked Series

Join us at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club each Wednesday evening throughout the month of October, as we take you on a wine journey across some of the greatest wine producing regions throughout Australia and New Zealand. Taste and learn about some of the finest wines while raising important funds for the Club’s Go Pink campaign.

Week One – Tasmania
The journey begins in the cool climate of Tasmania. Tasting globally renowned sparkling, Australia’s answer to Champagne as well as
Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir the wines will be accompanied by hors d’oeuvres in a stand-up canapé style event.

Date: Wednesday 5 October 2022
Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Cost: $60 for Members $75 for non-members
Includes substantial hors d’oeuvres, tastings of wines and a donation to the Institute for Glycomics.

Week Two – New Zealand
Staying with the cooler climate wines in week two take a trip across the Tasman Sea to New Zealand. Famous for its Marlborough region wines the
evening will be accompanied by a delicious three course set menu paired by Head Chef Ben James.

Cost: $95 for Members $110 for non-members
Includes paired wines with a set three-course dinner and a donation to the Institute for Glycomics

Week Three – Western Australia
From the East we head to the far West. Join us this week for a family style dining experience with shared homestyle meals and some of West Australia’s finest selection of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Time: 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Cost: $90 for Members $105 for non-members
Ticket includes paired wines with a homestyle table banquet dinner and a donation to the Institute for Glycomics.

Week Four – South Australia
Our journey would not be complete without a visit to the deep South, encompassing wines from the Coonawarra region, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and of course the beautiful Barossa Valley.
Join us for the crescendo moment of the journey where we saved the best until last and indulge in a six-course degustation with paired wines.

Date: Wednesday 26 October 2022
Time: 6:30pm – 10pm
Cost: $145 for Members $160 for non-members
Ticket includes paired wines with a decadent six course degustation menu and a donation to the Institute for Glycomics.
