This ANZAC Day, Tuesday 25 April 2023, any Member who is an Australian or New Zealand Ex-Serviceman or Ex-Service woman will receive a complimentary standard beverage in Lakeview Bar between 11am and 2:30pm. The below specials will also be available for purchase from Lakeview Bar.

Our live band will be sure to have your boots scootin’ all night long with tributes to the sounds of country classics including Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and Chris Stapleton.

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club invites Members and residents to join The Great Sanctuary Cove Bake Off in support of Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
2023 marks the Club’s 11th year raising funds for Cancer Council Australia, helping run the organisation’s vital support services, lifesaving cancer research projects and educational prevention programs.
Guests will enjoy a glass of French rosé upon arrival, followed by tea and coffee and a delectable high tea buffet.
To assist in raising funds, guests are invited to bring along a plate of baked treats – cakes, muffins, cupcakes, biscuits or slice. All items will be offered to guests to purchase and take home to share with family and loved ones. Prizes will be awarded to items on the day with our very own Head Chef Ben James judging items donated.
Please DO NOT include fresh cream as icing or decorations in your baked items as the cake boxes will not be refrigerated, and the cream will spoil.
Please ensure a list of ingredients in the baked items is supplied with the plate. The list of ingredients should include all items used to make your baked item, e.g. butter, sugar, flour, vanilla essence, eggs, dried or fresh fruit, cocoa and nuts etc. Please also include the name of the person who donated or produced the baked item.

Tuesday 18 April was a perfect autumn day to greet 128 Members of the Club’s Early Birds to play on The Pines golf course for the annual Ambrose event. The event was followed by lunch in Lakeview Bar. It was wonderful to see a number of new Members participating in the day with some great results achieved. Third place for the day with a score of 60.875 was awarded to John Nelson, Chris Lecky, Carol Nelson and Paul Johnson. Congratulations to the runners up with a score of 60.75, Alan Welch, Trudi Murray, Judy Grix and Crusher Murray and the winning group of Paul Debnam, Diane Debnam, Nick Mullings and Jane Mullings who finished with a score of 58.875. Thank you to Ken Morrisby and Shaun Clarke for all their efforts to organise the Early Birds event. We look forward to the next Ambrose event for the year in August. The Club is proud to announce that the fifth annual Dennis Fox Cup will take place on Friday 12 May 2023. This challenge will see the Club’s Early Birds take on the Club’s Breakfast Club in a shotgun start at 11:45am.
Pre-golf, Villi’s Pies will be served next to the putting green, and golfers will enjoy food platters post-golf prior to the presentations in Lakeview Bar.

On Thursday 1 June 2023, Golf Operations Manager Ryan Gailey and PGA Tour Rules Official Russell Swanson will be hosting a Golf Rules Trivia Night in Lakeview Bar.
Teams will answer 30 multiple choice questions with a number of great prizes up for grabs.
The event will run for approximately 90 minutes and Happy Hour drinks will be available as well as the Mezze Snack menu.
Seats are limited and bookings are essential.

The Club is seeking expressions of interest from Members who are interested in representing the Club in GCDGA Interclub Pennants.
The season begins on 18 June 2023 and will finish on 30 July 2023.

The Country Club will be open 1pm to 6pm on ANZAC Day, Tuesday 25 April 2023. There will be no group fitness classes held on this day.

Members are reminded that parking is not permitted under the porte-cochère at the Clubhouse main entrance unless in an allocated parking space.
Golf buggy parking is available in front of the golf shop and in the designated Clubhouse entrance cart park.
Your cooperation and understanding of these guidelines are appreciated, so as to not jeopardise the Club’s ability to accommodate emergencies such as fire and ambulance arrivals.

The Members’ Working Group is a group of Members who volunteer their time to assist the Golf Course Maintenance team with various tasks on and around the golf courses.
The Members’ Working Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays, and we invite any Members interested in helping to contact Gary Simmons.
The weekly Members’ Sunday Night Roast is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm.
The roast is $35 per person and includes a soup, a selection of traditional roast meats and vegetables and dessert.
Places are strictly limited, to avoid disappointment please book by phoning 07 5699 9000.
The Weekly Members’ Draw will be drawn at 6:30pm. The Member drawn in the last Members’ Draw was Mr Dewald Smit. Mr Smit was not present, therefore the amount has jackpotted to $1,100 Club Credit with one chance to win.
