Friday Night Dining in The Jabiru Restaurant

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club welcomes Members and their guests to dine in The Jabiru Restaurant this autumn with our autumn menu. The autumn menu is a selection of the highest quality of ingredients and offers a greater choice of dishes that encompasses Head chef Ben James’s dining philosophy of simplified, quality dishes that excite your palate.

The menu features highlights including the opportunity for Members to select from char-grilled 250g eye fillet sourced from the Coonawarra region, grain fed and aged for 120 days or the mouth-watering 500g+ OP rib fillet on the bone from Darling Downs with a marble score 2+, grain fed and 150 day aged.

Our chefs are also thrilled to now offer a selection of quality seafood from Humpty Doo barramundi, Moreton Bay bugs to fresh oysters (available for pre-order or limited availability on the night) and now also available by pre-ordering 24 hours ahead, wild-caught rock lobster. As our chefs ensure they source the freshest rock lobsters and oysters possible for Members to savour, it is essential that these items are pre-ordered at 24 hours in advance. Please advise staff at time of booking if you wish to order, to ensure you do not miss out.

Head Chef, Ben James has once again made a concerted effort to ensure dietary requirements are catered for with a large number of gluten free dishes available. To view the autumn menu, please click here.

The Great Sanctuary Cove Bake Off – Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club invites Members and residents to join The Great Sanctuary Cove Bake Off in support of Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

2023 marks the Club’s 11th year raising funds for Cancer Council Australia, helping run the organisation’s vital support services, lifesaving cancer research projects and educational prevention programs.

Guests will enjoy a glass of French rosé upon arrival, followed by tea and coffee and a delectable high tea buffet.

To assist in raising funds, guests are invited to bring along a plate of baked treats – cakes, muffins, cupcakes, biscuits or slice. All items will be offered to guests to purchase and take home to share with family and loved ones. Prizes will be awarded to items on the day with our very own Head Chef Ben James judging items donated.

Please DO NOT include fresh cream as icing or decorations in your baked items as the cake boxes will not be refrigerated, and the cream will spoil.

Please ensure a list of ingredients in the baked items is supplied with the plate. The list of ingredients should include all items used to make your baked item, e.g. butter, sugar, flour, vanilla essence, eggs, dried or fresh fruit, cocoa and nuts etc. Please also include the name of the person who donated or produced the baked item.

Time: 10am – 12pm
Location: Lakeview Terrace
Price: $55 Members, $65 non-members. The ticket price includes a donation to Cancer Council Australia
