The Club is proud to announce that the fifth annual Dennis Fox Cup will take place on Friday 12 May 2023. This challenge will see the Early Birds take on the Breakfast Club in a shotgun start at 11:45am.
Pre-golf, Villi’s Pies will be served next to the putting green, and golfers will enjoy food platters post-golf prior to the presentations in Lakeview Bar.

On Sunday 14 May, Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club is getting active for breast cancer research. We’re running, walking, dressing up and fundraising to raise awareness and funds for life-saving breast cancer research projects. We’d love for you to join us!
Every day, 57 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer – and nine people lose their lives to it. The Club will be raising funds to support the vital work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation to improve breast cancer detection, develop new treatments, and help people with breast cancer to live longer and healthier lives. Since the Mother’s Day Classic’s inception, the 5-year survival rate of breast cancer patients has increased from 84% to 92%, thanks largely to research. However, there is still a long way to go before Australians stop losing their lives to breast cancer.
Members and Sanctuary Cove residents are invited to join our team and get behind this wonderful cause. All participants can register to be a part of the Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club team, as well as learn more about the Foundation, by clicking here. Once participants have registered their details and when prompted, please select “Join a Team” and enter Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club. Participants can register for either a 4km or 8km walk or run.

Michael Jones is holding a Members’ Active Putting Session on Tuesday 16 May 2023. This clinic is a specific putting practice session and will combine technique and practical application. With the help of putting aids, Members will receive accurate feedback on strengths vs weaknesses with their own putting skills. Remember, putting makes up 30% of your score, making it as important as your range practice.

On Thursday 1 June 2023, Golf Operations Manager Ryan Gailey and PGA Tour Rules Official Russell Swanson will be hosting a Golf Rules Trivia Night in Lakeview Bar.
Teams will answer 30 multiple choice questions with a number of great prizes up for grabs.
The event will run for approximately 90 minutes and Happy Hour drinks will be available as well as the Mezze Snack menu.
Seats are limited and bookings are essential.

In June 2023, the Club is holding a First Aid and CPR refresher course that is open to Members with two options available:
CPR Refresher
Those who completed their First Aid course through the Club in 2021 and 2022 can renew their CPR certification during a two-hour face-to-face course. Note that the CPR component is valid for one year only.

Price: $68 per person including a tea, coffee, and light morning tea
Provide First Aid
Provide First Aid participants with the skills and knowledge to administer first aid, basic life support and CPR in an emergency, during a five-and-half-hour session. The full first aid certificate is valid for three years (noting that the CRP component needs to be completed each year).

The Ladies’ 9-hole Competitions continue to be held on Mondays, with the below dates scheduled for May:
There will be a mixture of single stableford, 4BBB stableford and 2-ball ambrose events with the competition fee being $10.
