136 Members enjoyed the 5th Dennis Fox Cup played on The Pines golf course on Friday 12 May 2023. This is the one day per year where the Breakfast Club and Early Birds play together in a shotgun start.
Pre-golf players enjoyed a Villis Pies and some sponsored beverages from Lion Nathan.
The Early Birds ran out narrow winners over the Breakfast Club and will hold bragging rights for the next twelve months. The day was full of fun and played in true Dennis Fox style; suitably commemorating Dennis’ colourful and vibrant character. Click here to view the images from the event.
Beat the winter blues and join us on Saturday 29 July for our take on a traditional northern hemisphere Christmas-style celebration. Our 2023 Christmas in July event themes the magic of wintertime and the historic Yulefest party with a midwinter feast, dancing, mulled wine and maybe even a touch of snow!
Tickets for this event are $55 for Members and $70 for non-members, including a traditional Christmas winter buffet dinner, live entertainment and a drink on arrival. We encourage you to wear your best Christmas sweaters, as prizes for the best “ugly” Christmas sweater or outfit will be presented on the evening.
Christmas in July is always a very popular event so be sure to book your tickets before they are sold out.

Lakeview Bar will be open for breakfast this Sunday 21 May 2023. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by contacting Lakeview Bar on 07 5699 9000.
As of Friday 19 May, all food and beverage menus will show a 10% price increase, which is applicable to visitors of the Club. Members will automatically receive the 10% Members’ discount when making payment. Visitor pricing will not be applicable to Members’ guests where a Member is responsible for the payment of the bill.

The Club also offers pre-purchased Members’ guest rounds in a voucher form at a reduced rate per round. While Members will not have to be present on the day of play, they will be responsible for the behaviour and actions of their guests. All guests are required to sign in at the golf shop under the Members’ name.
The Pines Golf Course

The Palms Golf Course

At the end of each competition, a playing conditions calculation (PCC) is applied which calculates how difficult the golf course played on the day, relative to all competitors. This PCC is incorporated in handicap adjustments following competition play, and it is completed automatically by GolfLink; the Club has no impact on the outcome.

The Club is seeking expressions of interest from Members who are interested in representing the Club in GCDGA Interclub Pennants.
The season begins on 18 June 2023 and will finish on 30 July 2023.
All Members who are interested are invited to put their name on the signup sheet on the golf shop noticeboard. The draw can be viewed by clicking here.

The weekly Members’ Sunday Night Roast is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm.
The roast is $35 per person and includes a soup, a selection of traditional roast meats and vegetables and dessert.

The Weekly Members’ Draw will be drawn at 6:30pm. The Member drawn in the last Members’ Draw was Mr Paul Blake. Mr Blake was not present, therefore the amount has jackpotted to $1,500 Club Credit with one chance to win.
