As communicated in the 2023 Strategic Plan correspondence on 14 April, Members were kindly invited to offer any comment or feedback on the Plan in writing, and we express our thanks to those who shared their insights. The Board has reviewed the feedback received, and now invites Members to attend a forum on Monday 8 May 2023 to discuss and answer any questions relating to the Strategic Plan. The Club also offers pre-purchased Members’ guest rounds in a voucher form at a reduced rate per round. While Members will not have to be present on the day of play, they will be responsible for the behaviour and actions of their guests. All guests are required to sign in at the golf shop under the Members’ name.
The Pines Golf Course
Purchase ten rounds for $110 per round
Note that Members’ guests are limited to 6 visits per annum on The Pines golf course.
The Palms Golf Course

At the end of each competition, a playing conditions calculation (PCC) is applied which calculates how difficult the golf course played on the day, relative to all competitors. This PCC is incorporated in handicap adjustments following competition play, and it is completed automatically by GolfLink; the Club has no impact on the outcome.

As many Members would be aware, the Club has been in ongoing discussions with Optus and local stakeholders regarding the relocation of the phone tower currently positioned in the Sanctuary Cove Marine Village.
After due consideration of the project’s many variables, the Holdings Board wishes to advise that the relocation of the tower will not proceed as a mutually suitable location for all involved could not be found.

Welcome Nadia Zielinska The Club would like to welcome Nadia Zielinska who commenced employment in the food and beverage department this week. Nadia has had previous food and beverage experience in various cafes and as a waitress at JW Marriot. Nadia is currently undertaking study at the University of Queensland for a Bachelor of Business, Marketing and International Business. Nadia has a passion for the fashion industry, owning a fully automated fashion-related small business. Please welcome Nadia to the Club.
The Club is seeking expressions of interest from Members who are interested in representing the Club in GCDGA Interclub Pennants.
The season begins on 18 June 2023 and will finish on 30 July 2023.

The weekly Members’ Sunday Night Roast is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm.
The roast is $35 per person and includes a soup, a selection of traditional roast meats and vegetables and dessert.

The Weekly Members’ Draw will be drawn at 6:30pm. The Member drawn in the last Members’ Draw was Mr Jason Watkins. Mr Watkins was not present, therefore the amount has jackpotted to $1,300 Club Credit with one chance to win.
