Update on the Golf Courses

This week the Golf Course Maintenance team addressed the following tasks:

  • Verti-cutting of greens on both courses
  • Foliar fertiliser application on The Pines tees, green aprons and fairways
  • Commencement of sprinkler head trimming on The Pines
  • A selective herbicide application on outer rough areas on The Pines
  • Continued removal of tree roots encroaching into The Palms greens aprons
  • Trimming of drain pits on The Palms
  • Palm tree replacement in The Palms 8th green garden done by contractors
  • Granular fertiliser application to the northern driving range tee

The team plans to complete the below tasks next week:

  • Light dusting and amendment application of greens on both courses
  • Completion of sprinkler head trimming on The Pines
  • 6mm solid tine aeration on selective greens on The Pines
  • Solid tine aeration on The Pines tees
  • Garden works on The Palms 8th hole shaping mounds and drainage
