On Thursday 10 August, Members and their guests experienced a taste of Italy, attending the Club’s first Italian food and wine dinner. The Jabiru Restaurant was transformed to capture the ambiance of an authentic Italian restaurant.
Attendees enjoyed canapés and welcome drinks before indulging in a carefully selected authentic four-course set dinner menu paired with an assortment of exquisite Italian vino. Hilary Thomson and special guest Travis Watson shared their knowledge of what makes Italian wines unique in the market. The room fell silent, and guests watched in awe listening to the simply perfect sounds of Jack Watson as he performed a variety of beautiful musical pieces including his finale of a stunning opera composition.
