Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following tasks this week:

  • Amendment application and light dusting of The Pines greens
  • Insecticide application to the fairways on holes 2, 8 and 9 to control insect larvae
  • Sprinkler head trimming on The Pines
  • Foliar fertilisation on the driving range tees and fairway
  • Granular fertiliser application on The Pines tees
  • Foliar fertilisation on The Palms tees, green aprons and fairways
  • Planting of a variety of florae in the garden area on the left side of The Palms 8th hole 
  • Planting of more native grass species in the garden areas near The Pines 8th and 11th tees
  • Completion of the tee signage posts installation on The Palms
  • Installation of the new bins, sand bins and ball washers on The Palms
  • Addition of the new tee markers on The Palms

The team plans to address the following next week:

  • Verti-cutting and 6mm solid needle tine aeration on The Pines greens
  • Continuation of insecticide application on The Pines fairways
  • Insecticide application on The Palms bunker surrounds
  • Herbicide application on The Pines rough
  • Trimming of The Palms green side sprinkler heads
