Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team accomplished the following tasks this week:

• The application of amendments and a light dust to the greens on both courses
• Completion of the sprinkler head trimming on The Pines
• Foliar fertiliser application on the driving range tees and fairway
• Trimming of drain pits on The Palms
• Garden works on The Palms 8^th hole, forming planting mounds with the assistance of the Members’ Working Group by transporting soil to the site
• Detail edging of paths around The Pines practice putting greens
• Leveling of turf patches on The Palms greens
• Turf work in front of The Palms 16^th green
• Repair work to the pump manifold in The Pines pump shed

Next week the team will:

• Complete 6mm needle tine aeration on The Pines greens
• Foliar fertilise The Palms tees, green aprons and fairways
• Complete garden works around The Pines 1^st and 10^th tees
• Trim valve box lids on The Pines
• Complete drainage work for The Palms 8^th hole garden

• New course furniture install will continue on The Pines from Monday with the pouring of concrete pads

• Phase two of the landscape works on hole 8 of The Palms will continue
