Update on the Golf Courses

This week the Golf Course Maintenance (GCM) team completed the following tasks:

  • Aeration of The Pines greens with 6mm solid needle tines
  • Aeration of the tees on both courses with 8mm solid tines
  • Herbicide application to control Poa annua on The Pines practice putting greens and The Palms 10th green
  • Foliar fertiliser application to The Palms tees, green aprons and fairways
  • Rock drainage install in a swale thru the garden on the left side of The Palms 8th hole
  • Trimming of the grass gardens around The Pines 1st and 10th tees and the practice putting greens, as well as weed control and mulching with hoop pine mulch
  • Concrete contractor has commenced the setup for the concrete pad for the new course furniture on The Pines with assistance from GCM staff
  • Installation of tee signage posts on The Palms has commenced

The team will attend to the below next week:

  • Aeration of The Palms greens with 6mm solid needle tines
  • Foliar fertiliser application to The Pines tees, green aprons and fairways
  • Herbicide spraying of The Pines bunker surrounds
  • Continuation of tee signage post installation on The Palms
  • Continued installation of concrete pads for the course furniture on The Pines
