Low Marker Responsibility

All players should take responsibility for the speed of play in their group, not just the low marker. However, the lowest marker in the group is responsible for the entire group’s speed of play. It is not as important to complete your round in less than four hours and ten minutes, but rather to keep up with the group in front at all times.

Please note the low marker in each group is responsible for the following:

  • Pace of play – keeping up with the group in front
  • Filling of divots with sand
  • Repairing of ball marks on greens
  • Driving of golf carts in the correct locations – remaining on paths on carts on paths days
  • Raking of bunkers
  • Other course care and etiquette
