Coaching Tip with Steve Darmody – Fix that Sway

Turning too level on the backswing can result in a lateral drift known as a sway, which can disrupt the balance of the swing.

This makes it challenging to execute a well-balanced forward swing.

In the image on the left, Margie is seen drifting to the right due to improper turning.

In contrast, in the image on the right, Margie maintains a steady head position and focuses on turning her shoulders downward.

This adjustment leads to improved ball striking and better overall balance.
