Are you set up correctly?

Properly setting the club on the backswing is a crucial step in generating effortless power throughout your swing. To achieve this, extend the hands and club out, up, and behind the right shoulder.

In the image below, the swing on the right shows the club being picked up with collapsed arms, while the correct position, shown in the second image, features the right arm extended, with the hands up and behind the right shoulder. This position greatly enhances the efficiency of the downswing, resulting in effortless power.
