“This week, the maintenance team has prioritised operational efficiency across the golf courses, making full use of the available workdays due to the shortened weeks. Optimal weather conditions over the Easter long weekend provided a valuable window for operations, with both courses presenting in excellent condition following recent periods of heavy rainfall. However, rainfall earlier this week has once again temporarily impacted rough mowing. This task will be rescheduled as soon as possible. On The Pines golf course, the over-sown tees received their initial mow at a height of 8mm, while The Palms golf course tees have begun to germinate, with their first mow anticipated in the coming week. Continued favourable weather will be critical to maintaining the current momentum.“ |
This week, the team completed the following on The Palms and The Pines golf courses:
Completed the first mow on The Pines golf course over-sown tees at 8mm
Carried out a foliar fertiliser application on The Pines golf course fairways and aprons, and also on The Palms golf course greens
Applied granular fertiliser to The Pines golf course tees
