The Club is hosting First Aid and CPR Refresher training courses in June, which are open to members to participate.
Those attending will be required to demonstrate their physical ability to perform at least two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a mannequin to meet the performance criteria for assessment.
Prior to attending this course participants are required to complete an online booking confirmation and enrolment form which will be sent from the training provider, this will include providing a USI (Unique Student ID).
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to administer first aid, basic life support and CPR in an emergency, during a five and half hour session. The full first aid certificate is valid for three years (noting that the CPR component needs to be completed each year).

Members who completed their First Aid course through the Club in 2023 and 2024 can renew their CPR certification during a two-hour face-to-face course. This renewal is valid for one year only and will need to be completed again 12 months from certification.
