It has been a productive week across both courses, with a number of key projects completed. On The Palms golf course, the 3rd green extension has now been completed and all shortcut mowing is underway. The temporary cart path on the 10th hole has had all the pot holes repaired for safety of the members and guests. Also Palm tree transplanting has begun behind the 10th green. These palms were saved during the early stages of construction. On The Pines golf course, the overflow car park underwent renovation using the Ventrac Aera-Vator and was treated with granular fertiliser. Across both courses, targeted herbicide applications were made to rough areas, bunker runners were sprayed on The Palms golf course, and irrigation trimming was carried out. At the Clubhouse entrance, works on the porte cochère and surrounding entrance gardens are now in the final stages, with lighting installed and the façade complete. The garden bed is expected to be finished over the coming days. Looking ahead, next week we plan to apply foliar fertiliser and insecticide to fairways, tees, and aprons on both courses, complete solid tine aeration on tees at The Pines golf course, verti-cut the putters and practice holes, and work alongside a volunteer group to fill divots on the back 9 of The Pines golf course. Our thanks go to the volunteers for generously giving their time to help keep the course in top condition. |
