2025 Ladies’ Pink Ribbon Golf Day Recap

On Thursday 25 September, Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club proudly hosted the 7th annual Ladies’ Pink Ribbon Golf Day, raising funds for Breast Cancer Trials. The energy on course was high, the sun was shining, and 120 members turned out in vibrant pink to support a cause that resonates so deeply within our Club community.

This year, the event was combined with our Ladies’ Invitation Day, which welcomed 120 members and guests from 16 different clubs to experience The Pines golf course in an Irish Four Ball Stableford. Following play, guests enjoyed a beautifully curated buffet lunch crafted by Executive Chef Andrea Moreschini.

Adding to the spirit of the day, PGA Associate Chris Park, dressed in pink, took to the 13th hole tee to hit shots and help raise valuable additional funds for Breast Cancer Trials.

Together, entry fees and Chris’s efforts on the tee raised an impressive $4,813.75 for the cause, with $3,600 from participants and a further $1,213.75 thanks to Chris’s initiative.

Congratulations to our overall winners Evelyn Rabinowe, Airlie Hawley, Daphne McKenzie and Yuko Nakamura, who posted a fantastic 108 points. Special mention also goes to our members only team champions Sam Bacon, Loryn van den Berg, Trudi Murray and Janice Stirling, who scored an outstanding 111 points.
