The Jabiru Restaurant and Lakeview Terrace came alive on Tuesday as members and their guests gathered for Melbourne Cup 2025, the most stylish day on the Australian sporting calendar. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the race that stops the nation played live on the big screens, accompanied by laughter, friendly rivalry, and spectacular fashion.
The indulgent buffet proved a highlight, offering an impressive selection of dishes inspired by world flavours and beautifully presented by the Club’s talented culinary team. The menu was complemented by a premium three-hour beverage package and exceptional service throughout the afternoon.
Fashions on the Field turned heads, with guests dressed in their finest competing for best dressed honours and an array of prizes. Everyone looked stunning. Congratulations to Yolanda and Kuda Yekeye, best dressed couple, Russell Byrne, best dressed gentleman, and Lee-Anne Flaherty, best dressed lady. Adding to the excitement, sweeps and friendly competition kept spirits high right through to the main race.
