New Additions to the Golf Course Maintenance Team

Welcoming our visiting Team Members from Priddis Greens Golf Course

We are pleased to welcome Koby, Spencer, and Adam, who have recently joined the course maintenance department on six-month working holiday visas. A fourth team member from Canada is also scheduled to arrive at the end of the month.

The group joins us from Priddis Greens Golf Course in Priddis, Alberta, Canada, where they normally work during the Canadian golf season. As Priddis Greens closes over the winter period due to snowfall, this exchange provides the team with an opportunity to continue developing their skills and gain valuable international experience.

During their time with us, Koby, Spencer, and Adam will provide additional support during the renovation of both The Palms and The Pines golf courses as well as assist with course preparations for the upcoming Australian WPGA Championship.

We look forward to working alongside them over the coming months and appreciate the experience, enthusiasm, and fresh perspective they bring to the team.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our Canadian colleagues.

Welcoming our new Apprentice Greenkeepers

We are pleased to welcome Reef and Thomas to the course maintenance team as our newest Apprentice Greenkeepers.

Reef joins us with a fresh perspective and a strong enthusiasm for learning the trade. Although new to both golf and greenkeeping, he has already demonstrated a dedicated work ethic and a keen interest in developing his skills within the industry.

Thomas brings almost four years of prior experience, having previously worked at RACV Royal Pines Resort and The Grand Golf Club. During that time, he gained practical experience in operating course machinery, including cutting fairways, greens, rough, and surrounds, and is now looking forward to completing his formal greenkeeping certification.

Both Reef and Thomas will play an important role in supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of our facilities, and we look forward to watching them progress in their apprenticeships. Please join us in welcoming them to the team.
