Proudly named Legends Tournament of the Year | Queensland Golf Industry Awards 2024 and 2025
The 2025 Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Legends Pro-Am, proudly named Legends Tournament of the Year at the 2024 and 2025 Queensland Golf Industry Awards, delivered another exceptional day of competition on Tuesday 2 December 2025. Hosted by Adam Scott and Peter Senior, the event brought world-class PGA Legends to The Pines golf course, where they competed for $45,000 in prize money alongside members in one of Australia’s richest one-day Legends Pro-Ams.
Members enjoyed the unique opportunity to play with some of the sport’s most respected players, with a mid-morning shotgun start setting the tone for an exciting day. PGA Legends competed in a Single Stroke format, while members played Single Stableford.
The joint winners of the 2025 Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Legends Pro-Am were Guy Wall and David Bransdon, who delivered an outstanding performance with a score of 70, finishing two under par.
Congratulations to Chris Atkinson, who secured the Best Stableford Men’s title with 35 points, and to Cathy Mathieson, who claimed the Best Stableford Ladies’ title with 39 points. Congratulations also to Jeff Butler, who was the Sponsor winner with 38 points.
