Message from our Golf Course Superintendent

Cameron Smith, Golf Course Superintendent

With the first short week now underway, the maintenance team is working to a condensed schedule to ensure both courses remain presented to the highest standard throughout the Christmas period. Multiple spray applications will be carried out across the courses to maintain the continuity of our program.

As member play increases over the coming weeks, we ask that members and their guests remain mindful of the maintenance team working on course and take care around ongoing operations, as essential tasks continue within the shortened timeframe.

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year.

This week, the maintenance team completed the following:

  • Applied foliar fertiliser to The Pines golf course fairways, tees, and aprons
  • Applied fungicide to the greens on both courses

  • Continued landscape planting on the 3rd hole on The Palms golf course
