Welcome to our new Sous Chef, Oreste Natale

The Club is pleased to welcome Oreste Natale to the Club’s culinary team as our new Sous Chef. Oreste brings with him extensive leadership and international experience, having held senior roles at some of Australia’s most recognised venues, including Crown Melbourne, where he worked as Senior Chef de Partie, and most recently as the Owner and Head Chef of Double Zero, the first Queensland restaurant certified by the AVPN for authentic Neapolitan pizza. During his time there, he led a high-performing kitchen, developed seasonal menus, and mentored a team of more than a dozen chefs while balancing hands-on operations with business strategy.

He returns to Australia following a 10-month journey through Italy and Thailand. Now based on the Gold Coast with his young family, Oreste joins the Club with a strong focus on team development, consistency, and elevating the standard of our culinary operations.
