We would like to advise you of essential works scheduled at the Club in early 2026. These works are required to maintain our compliance with safety, health and food service regulations, and to ensure our facilities continue to meet the standards expected by our members.
Kitchen Operations
Essential compliance works will take place in the kitchen from 19 January to 2 February 2026. During this period, the Club will operate with a reduced daily menu available from Lakeview Bar and the golf shop. A selection of sandwiches, wraps, gourmet baguettes, salads, poke bowls, and small snack items will be offered to ensure members continue to have convenient options while works are underway.
On Saturday 24 and Saturday 31 January, The Turn will be operating as normal, but with a summer twist. Members can enjoy barbecue options between rounds, offering an easy pre‑golf or mid‑round stop while kitchen works are in progress. The menu will be released in The Weekly newsletter.
For those participating in The Australia v Rest of the World Challenge on Sunday 25 January, post‑golf dining will take place in the Country Club Botanical Room.
Hot Water System Interruptions
On Monday 19 January, Tuesday 20 January, and Wednesday 30 January, the Club’s hot water system will be offline. Showers will be unavailable during this time, and hand sanitiser will be provided in all bathrooms to support member comfort and hygiene. Please note there will be no water at the Club for a 4-5 hour period on Monday 19 January.
Roof Repairs in The Jabiru Restaurant and Foyer
Roof repairs to The Jabiru Restaurant and the foyer, required following previous storm damage, will be completed between Monday 19 January and Monday 2 March. The Jabiru Restaurant will be closed during this period to allow works to proceed safely. Lakeview Bar and the kitchen will remain operational as normal. The repairs are important to ensure the long‑term safety, integrity, and presentation of key member spaces.
We appreciate your understanding as we complete these essential works. Member experience remains front of mind, and every effort will be made to carry out the improvements with as little disruption as possible.
