Message from our Golf Course Superintendent

The busy period continues this week, with a shortened schedule due to Good Friday, leading into our major members’ tournament across the Easter long weekend.
The team has worked extremely hard to ensure all key details are under control, while also beginning to roll out our winter programs. We have remained on top of mowing across both courses throughout the week, and the team will also be on site over the weekend, maintaining fairways, tees, and surrounds to ensure the courses are presented at their best for members.
Temperatures are beginning to trend lower, which is ideal, as it helps slow growth in the rough areas and supports our transition into winter conditions.
Over the coming week, we will be saying goodbye to our Canadian casuals, who have been outstanding throughout the summer. To support operations in the short term, we will be looking to bring on an additional two staff members, while also commencing preparations for our spring and summer programs. As part of this process, we will once again engage our recruitment partner to source seasonal staff and further strengthen the team during peak periods.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter. Enjoy the golf courses, and hopefully the weather holds for a fantastic long weekend.
