As another dry week concludes, there is some welcome rainfall forecast for the coming week. Despite the continued run of stable weather, the team has completed the pre-emergent program across all couch surfaces on The Pines golf course, alongside Poa pre-emergent applications on all greens throughout the property. This program delivered excellent results last year, and similar success is anticipated again this season.
Looking ahead to next week, pre-emergent treatments will be undertaken on The Palms golf course, in conjunction with scheduled tree contractor works on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Members may have observed that lake levels across the property are currently lower than usual. This is the result of ongoing pump issues affecting our water supply from Coombabah, which we are hopeful will be resolved early next week. In the interim, investigations into leakage concerns at the lakes on holes 3 and 10 on The Palms golf course are continuing. Independent consultants have been engaged, and an outcome is expected soon.
