Dear Member

Golf Club
With the Premier announcing last weekend that the State was moving to Stage 2 COVID-19 restrictions early, we have been reviewing and planning our position with respect to reopening the Golf Club.

I am pleased to advise the following:

  • Lakeview Bar, The Jabiru Restaurant and Lakeview Terrace will be set up to host a maximum of twenty (20) Members or guests at any one time in each section
  • Members will be required to enter and exit the Golf Club as marked; we ask that you kindly adhere to the directional signage
  • A Snack Menu with limited food items will only be available at this time until Members are advised further
  • The trading hours will be as follows:

Monday         11:30am – 2:30pm

Tuesday         Closed

Wednesday   11:30am – 5:30pm

Thursday       11:30am – 2:30pm

Friday            11:30am – 5:30pm

Saturday        11:30am – 5:30pm

Sunday          11:30am – 5:30pm

  • Each Member will be required to sign in prior to being seated in the area designated by staff
  • Table service only, we request Members to avoid coming to the bar area
  • Members will be requested to stay in the Club for a maximum of sixty (60) minutes from the time they enter the Club areas
  • Members are requested to use their Member accounts or credit card for payment of accounts
  • Members must obey social distancing at all times and remain 1.5m away from others and maintain four (4) square metres per person in an area
  • The coffee service outside in the Golf Operations area will remain in place until further notice, however the hours will change to 7am – 11:30am daily

We are currently rebuilding our Food and Beverage team, ensuring we are going to be compliant with all legislative requirements, and working with our suppliers to rebuild our stockholding.

Yesterday the Industry COVID Safe Plan for QLD Hotels and Clubs was approved by the Government. Further updates on rules and regulations relating to the Clubhouse reopening will be communicated over the next few weeks to Members.

Your patience and cooperation with staff when we reopen the facilities in these challenging circumstances will be greatly appreciated, noting that the team will have the full support of Management and the Board to enforce the legislative requirements.

Country Club
We are also pleased to advise that Mulpha will be reopening the Country Club on Monday 8 June 2020, including access to the gym, group fitness classes and the swimming pool. • Members must sanitise their hands and sign in upon arrival
  • Members must maintain a 1.5m distance from other Members and staff
  • Members must bring their own water bottle and towel, noting towels are not currently available from reception; gym access will be denied to those without a towel

Sanctuary Cove Country Club staff will increase its gym cleaning regimen throughout the day, including a deep clean every morning. All gym equipment will be sanitised on the hour by Mulpha staff.

For the health and safety of all Members and staff, Sanctuary Cove Country Club requests that you do not to visit if you are unwell.

The gym will be open from 5am – 8pm, Monday to Friday and 6am – 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience whilst we prepare to reopen the Club. Please continue to stay safe and social distance.
