The Club has added a new and exciting event to the Social Sunday Schedule which will be played this Sunday, 30 August 2020. The event is called The Tonto – Champion of Lone Ranger.

The event is a 12pm shotgun start and bookings are now available via the online tee sheet.

The rules of this event are as follows:

All teams will play 18 holes of Modified Lone Ranger.
After 18 holes, all scorecards will be returned to the golf shop and teams will make their way to the back of the 18^th green where beverages will be available in a marquee behind the green.
The top four teams will qualify for the semi-final.

Semi-final
One player from each team is drawn and represents the team in the semi-final:
Team one v Team four
Team two v Team three
Players will play a modified 18^th hole.
The winners of the hole will advance to the final.
If the hole is halved, the highest ranked qualifying team will advance to the final.

Final
Teams will select a player to represent their team. This player cannot be the player that played the semi-final.
This player will then play the modified 18^th hole.
If the 18^th hole is halved, another player will be selected to represent the team.
This will continue until the hole is won.

Stroke indexes will be used for both the men and ladies on the 18^th hole.

Sunday Night Roast and the Members’ Draw will follow from 5:30pm. A reminder that bookings are essential and that numbers are limited for the Sunday Night Roast due to COVID-19 restrictions.
