Clubhouse Dining Options
Social Membership provides access to The Jabiru Restaurant and Lakeview Bar in the award-winning Sanctuary Cove Golf Clubhouse.
Lakeview Bar overlooks one of The Pines golf course’s many pristine lakes and the lush greenery of the 18th hole. The Al Fresco Terrace allows for outside dining and provides impeccable views of The Pines golf course.
Lakeview Bar is open 7 days a week.
The Jabiru Restaurant is the Club’s fine dining restaurant. The seasonal menu is newly designed each quarter using the fresh ingredients of the season. This ensures we procure the finest local ingredients and Members and their guests enjoy our culinary team’s finest creations.
The Jabiru Restaurant is open on Friday evenings.

Bridge is a strategic card game that involves two partnerships playing against each other to win tricks using a standard deck of cards. Bridge can be played competitively in clubs and tournaments or socially on cruise ships, online or at home with friends and family, making Bridge a very popular game worldwide.
During a game of Bridge, friends or strangers are immediately united as they connect with one another, interact and speak a common language. While Bridge can be challenging to play at higher levels, it is easy to learn the basics. The Sanctuary Cove Bridge Club offers Bridge to everyone ranging from beginner lessons, help-with-play sessions up to accredited ‘Play’ sessions. These lessons include regular visits from professional Bridge teachers all within the comfort of Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club.
You do not need to have a partner to come along and enjoy what the Sanctuary Cove Bridge Club has to offer. We can arrange a partner for you and with our support you could be playing Bridge in no time. Bridge enhances your social life and is a great way to meet new friends and develop new skills.

Canasta is a card game in the Rummy family. The Sanctuary Cove Canasta group was formed around 1995 to provide a social venue for women in Sanctuary Cove Golf Club and is eclectic in its inclusions from golfers and Bridge players to novices at cards.
The version we play, Samba Canasta, is a game that can be played by 2, 3 or 4 players (forming 2 pairs). Whilst there is friendly rivalry, it is a casual game with plenty of opportunity for talking and laughter.
We are very pleased to welcome new arrivals in our group and to teach and encourage where required. It is another great way to meet new friends in an easygoing atmosphere.
We meet at the Clubhouse each Friday from around 9.15am until about 2.30pm with a stop for lunch and more chatter. Our Christmas Luncheon is a much-anticipated event each year.

Mah jong is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is played by four players. Similar to the Western card game rummy, mah jong is a game of skill, strategy, and luck.
The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols, although many regional variations may omit some tiles or add unique ones. In most variations, each player begins by receiving 13 tiles. In turn, players draw and discard tiles until they complete a legal hand using the 14th drawn tile to form four melds (or sets) and a pair (eye). A player can also win with a small class of special hands. While many variations of mah jong exist, most variations have some basic rules in common including how a piece is drawn and discarded, the use of suits (numbered tiles) and honors (winds and dragons), the basic kinds of melds allowed, how to deal the tiles and the order of play. Beyond these basic common rules, numerous regional variations exist which may have notably different criteria for legal melds and winning hands, radically different scoring systems and even elaborate extra rules. A group of players may introduce their own house rules which can notably change the feel of play.
