Welcome Simon Jones – Head Mechanic

This week, the Club warmly welcomes Simon Jones to the Golf Course Maintenance team as Head Mechanic.

With over 15 years’ experience in the mechanical sector, including the past two years in a similar role at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Simon brings strong technical knowledge across golf course machinery servicing, staff training, and equipment compliance.

At Sanctuary Cove, Simon will lead all workshop operations, oversee service schedules and repairs, and support the team with equipment training and day-to-day functionality across The Pines and The Palms golf courses. His appointment strengthens the Club’s continued focus on high-quality course maintenance and operational standards.
