With only 19mm of rain falling from the weekend into Monday, the weather has generally held off, allowing normal maintenance practices to continue across the courses. All playing surfaces are in excellent condition following the first month of winter. Ongoing fertility applications to the tee tops and driving range tees are supporting recovery through the cooler months. Next week, with The Pines golf course closed on Monday and Tuesday, the team will focus on storm damage clean-up and the installation of additional rocks in front of the 13th green. However, the forecast is not favourable, with 10–20mm of rain expected on Sunday, and another 10mm on Monday. The maintenance team will aim to make as much progress as possible, weather permitting. |
