The Herring Cup Final Recap – Sunday 3 August 2025

The Herring Cup remains one of the standout events on the Sunday Social golf calendar, and this year’s final did not disappoint. Seventeen teams qualified for the 2025 final, with fourteen teams ultimately taking to the course on Sunday 3 August for this much-loved mixed-gender competition.

A brisk winter’s morning set the tone, and the event delivered some impressive scoring. Greg and Janet Herring secured a fitting victory in the 4BBB Stableford with 45 points, narrowly edging out Brennan Gippel and Caitlin Cotterill on 44 points, followed by David Crowe and Suzi Ledger on 43 points.
