2025 Sanctuary Cove Professional Shootout Wrap-Up

The Sanctuary Cove Professional Shootout made a spectacular return this year following a six-year hiatus, delivering one of the most thrilling golf events on the Gold Coast. Held on The Pines golf course, the invitational field featured 14 PGA Professionals, including crowd favourites Anthony Quayle, Jake McLeod, and Louis Dobbelaar.

The weekend commenced with the Player Auction on Saturday 8 November, where lively bidding among members and guests created an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation for the competition to come.

Sunday’s Shootout teed off at 10am, treating members and guests to world-class golf and a spirited atmosphere despite the gloomy skies. The high-pressure elimination format kept spectators captivated as one player dropped each hole, building to a dramatic final showdown on the 18th between Zach Murray and WPGA rookie Hannah Reeves. Hannah struck a superb drive from the tee, and when Zach’s approach found the water, she was crowned the 2025 Sanctuary Cove Professional Shootout Champion, claiming the title and $20,000 from the $50,000 prize purse.

An impressive achievement, Hannah has now secured victory in three of her first four events as a professional.

Final leaderboard as below.

The Club extends its sincere thanks to Ray White Sanctuary Cove, Mulpha, and all valued hole sponsors for their generous support in making this event possible. Equal appreciation is given to Superintendent Cameron Smith and his dedicated team for presenting The Pines golf course in exceptional condition, and to the Golf Services and Food and Beverage teams for their tireless efforts behind the scenes in delivering a seamless event experience.
